//For Auto Shops
Fill the bays.
Keep the customer.
A shop with empty bays and a shop turning away oil changes do not have the same marketing problem. We start with the repairs you want more of, bay capacity, service radius, repeat business and what the current channels can actually prove.
//Who this is for
Best fit for an operating shop with real customers, a defined service area, bay capacity somewhere, and budget set aside to act on the plan. If the shop is still being formed, we are probably early.
//WHAT THE DATA SAYS
Where marketing usually breaks.
Trust is unusually concrete in auto repair. Estimates, authorization, local reputation and customer records all shape the buying experience before another ad enters the picture.
In California, the estimate is part of the trust process.
The Bureau of Automotive Repair says a repair estimate must describe the specific job and show the estimated price for parts and labor before repairs are performed.
California Bureau of Automotive RepairAuthorization is not optional in California.
BAR says repairs must be authorized by the customer before work begins, in written, oral or electronic form, and the authorization must be documented.
California BARAuto repair is eligible for Local Services Ads.
Google currently lists auto repair shops among eligible automotive categories. Local Services Ads are billed for leads rather than ordinary ad clicks, subject to eligibility and verification.

We diagnose before we prescribe.
- 01
Talk to our founders
Tell us which bays have room, which repairs you want more of and how the shop gets work today.
- 02
We find the leak
We look at demand, trust, the call/estimate path, repeat business and what the numbers can prove. If the shop is already at capacity, buying more demand is not the assignment.
- 03
You get the plan
What deserves budget first, what can wait and what should not be bought yet.
Starts with a short founder conversation.
//Common questions
Things we get asked first.
What decides which shops show up in Google's local results?
Google publishes three factors: relevance, distance and prominence. Relevance is how well a listing matches what somebody searched for. Distance is how far the business is from the searcher, which nobody can change. Prominence is how well known a business is, which Google says draws on information across the web. Google does not publish a weighting between the three.
Do reviews affect where a shop appears in local results?
Google says review count and rating can contribute to local prominence, which is one of the three factors behind local results. What Google does not publish is how much weight reviews carry, or any separate credit for how recent they are. Anyone quoting a specific formula is guessing.
What are Local Services Ads and how does the billing work?
Local Services Ads are Google's pay-per-lead format for local service businesses. Google charges for the lead rather than for the click, and it can include calls and messages. Which categories are available, what verification is required and how leads are credited vary by market, and Google publishes the current requirements in its Local Services Ads documentation.
Does ranking in AI search need special markup?
No. Google's guidance on its AI features says the same fundamentals that apply to Search apply there, and that no special markup, file or schema is required to be eligible. The work is the same work: pages that answer the question, clear information, and sources that cite you.
Do you handle transmission shops, oil change shops, tire shops?
Yes. The local search and Local Services Ads fundamentals are the same across those service mixes. We tune the messaging to what you actually sell.
//Want a second set of eyes?
You know the business better than we do.
Tell us which bays have room and which repairs you want more of. A founder will look at how work arrives now before recommending what deserves budget.
