//Brand identity, packaging and websites
A branding agency that carries the work into the real world.
Identity is only useful if it survives the handoff to the website, packaging and production files. Jessica and Ben agree on what the brand needs now, then build those pieces together.
//Starting a brand
Starting a brand does not mean designing everything at once.
A startup branding agency still needs to decide what must be ready now and what can wait. We review the product, buyer, website, packaging and vendor requirements, then agree on the files and pages in scope.
//What you get
Choose the work the brand needs.
Clients often compare a creative agency with a graphic design agency. The better question is what has to work at handoff. We prepare the identity for the formats in scope, from web files to vendor-ready packaging artwork.
Identity
Logo system, typography, color and guidance for using them. A new business and an established brand may need different work.
Packaging
Label and carton artwork prepared for the agreed production requirements, with the vendor involved in the handoff.
Digital
Website design that carries the identity into product or service pages. Where commerce is part of the scope, we agree on the Shopify integration and checkout requirements.
//What is usually broken
Where brand projects usually break.
The logo is approved before anyone tests it on the actual formats.
Production specs arrive after the packaging is designed.
The web team rebuilds the identity from screenshots instead of source files.
Nobody agrees what files, pages and handoffs are included.
//The work
From the logo to the can to the website.
For Romée, we built the identity, four can labels, a 12-pack carton and a custom website integrated with Shopify. The design had to work on screen and in the vendor's production files.
//Before we recommend
What should we understand before we recommend anything?
Four questions give our founders useful context. They do not generate an automatic prescription.

Things we get asked first.
What is bleed in print artwork?
Bleed is artwork that extends beyond the final trim edge so small cutting differences do not leave an unintended white edge. The printer or publication determines the required amount.
Adobe InDesign, bleed and slug areasWhat is CMYK?
CMYK is the cyan, magenta, yellow and black color model used for process printing. The production file still needs to follow the printer's requested color profile and specifications.
Adobe print-production guidanceWhat is vector artwork?
Vector artwork is built from mathematical paths rather than a fixed grid of pixels, so it can be resized without the same loss of sharpness as a raster image. Logos are commonly supplied in vector formats for production use.
Adobe, vector graphicsWhat is a custom Shopify storefront?
Shopify uses 'custom storefront' for a separately built customer-facing experience that connects to Shopify's commerce services. The exact architecture depends on the build.
