Free Guide Terms

These terms apply when you request a free guide from miningwells.com, the website of Mining Wells LLC ("Mining Wells," "we," "our," or "us"). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in general.

A free guide in PDF form, sent to the email address you enter. There is no charge and no credit card.

When you check the consent box, you agree to receive marketing emails from Mining Wells, about once a week, at the address you entered, including guides, tips, news and offers about marketing. You can change your mind at any time (see section 6).

We email the guide instead of showing it on the page so we know the address belongs to you. Opening the download link in that email confirms it and signs in the device you opened it on. After that, other free guides download in one click on that device, and we email you a copy of each new one. A link can sign in a new device for 72 hours after we send it; after that, ask for a fresh one.

There is no password. On another phone or computer, choose "Email me a sign-in link" and open the link we send.

Each email address can get up to 10 new free guides every 7 days. A guide counts when you first open it. Guides you already have can be downloaded again at any time and never count. When you reach the limit, we tell you the date your next free guide unlocks. To stop the form being used to flood someone's inbox, we also send at most 5 guide emails to one address in an hour.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. One click removes you, or you can email hello@miningwells.com. Unsubscribing does not take away a guide you already have.

We keep your email address; a record of your consent (the exact wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page, and your IP address and browser); when you confirmed your address; which guides you asked for and downloaded; the pages you view on miningwells.com on a device you have signed in on; and your answer if you tell us where your business is today. We use it to send the guides and emails you agreed to, to make those emails fit what you are working on, and to learn which guides are useful.

To stop the free guides being abused, we also count requests by network. For that count we store a scrambled (hashed) form of the IP address, not the address itself, and delete it after 30 days.

We do not sell your email address. We use service providers to store this information and to send email, and they may use it only to provide that service to us. Your rights, including California privacy rights, are described in our Privacy Policy.

The guides are general information, not legal, tax or financial advice. Each one shows the date its sources were last checked. Fees, deadlines, platform rules and requirements change, so confirm with the official source before you act.

You are welcome to share a guide for personal use or inside your own business. Please do not sell it or present it as your own work.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Your consent record keeps the exact wording you agreed to when you signed up.
