//SEO

Search engine optimizationthat earns revenue, not just rankings.

Rankings are symptoms. The cause can be technical, local, content, authority, or a site that simply does not deserve to rank for the thing you want. We find the constraint first, then work on the part of search that can actually change it. Work directly with our founders. No account-manager handoff.

Most SEO gets sold as a mystery so someone can bill you a retainer to perform it. We do the opposite. An SEO agency should tell you what is actually wrong with your site, in priority order, fix the things that move revenue, and show you the numbers that matter. If a month is flat, we say so. The honesty is the point, and it is also why the work tends to hold up.

We run SEO for businesses in Orange County and across the United States from Irvine, California: technical fixes, on-page work, local search, content, link earning and AI search optimization, planned as one program. The receipts are on this site. A med spa went from page two for most of what it sells to 406 new keywords in three months, and Wheelhouse went from page three to top rankings. Our own site ranks in Google's top three for hundreds of competitive terms, and we run the same playbook for clients.

//Before we prescribe it

You may need seo agency. You may not.

Selling a service is not a reason to prescribe it. We look at the business first: the bottleneck, the economics, the customer path and what your current marketing is already doing. If seo agency has a clear job, we will tell you why. If the problem is somewhere else, we will tell you that too.

//Where we would look first

We look for the constraint before we add work.

You are not showing up locally.

We would look first at the Google Business Profile, local relevance, reviews, location signals and the local pages that decide who appears near the customer.

See how we run local SEO

You rank for your name, but not what you sell.

Branded visibility is not the same as being found when somebody is choosing. If an important service has no page worth ranking, that is the first gap to close.

See how we write the pages

The site barely covers the subjects buyers search.

Individual pages can be good while the coverage around them is thin. That is a program problem: which pages should exist, how they connect, and what they are each meant to answer.

See how we plan content coverage

Better pages still lose to competitors.

You may already have the more useful page. We would inspect authority and the links supporting the competing results before deciding what deserves the next dollar.

See how we earn links

You rank traditionally but barely appear in AI answers.

We would inspect whether the site's information is clear, well supported and easy to cite before prescribing more content.

See how we approach AI search

You cannot tell what organic search is producing.

More pages are not useful if the real problem is measurement. We would inspect crawlability, current visibility and the pages already earning impressions first.

//What you get

What an SEO engagement includes.

A real audit, written by a person

Technical, content, links and local, in priority order, with a measured baseline so every later month compares to something real.

Technical SEO

Crawl and index problems, site speed, Core Web Vitals, structured data and the debt that hides pages you already have.

Keyword and intent research

The searches buyers type when they are close to acting, sorted by intent and by what you can realistically win.

On-page and content

Pages that answer the search better than the competition, written for a reader and structured for a crawler and an AI model.

Local and Google Business Profile

Map Pack, near-me searches, location pages and the profile that is your real homepage now, where your business serves an area.

AI search and honest reporting

Optimization for AI Overviews and assistant citations, and a monthly report that leads with conversions and revenue-relevant terms.

//When this service earns its place

These are signals we look for. They are not your diagnosis.

//What is usually broken

Why your SEO has not produced revenue yet.

01

You are paying for rankings on terms your buyers never actually type, so traffic goes up and the phone stays quiet.

02

A technical problem is quietly hiding pages from Google, and no amount of new content will outrun it.

03

Your reporting leads with traffic and keyword counts, vanity numbers that climb whether or not the work pays back.

04

A previous vendor chased fast wins with risky tactics, and you inherited the cleanup when the penalty landed.

//Two-minute quiz

What is keeping you from being found?

Four questions about your situation. At the end, send them to a founder and get a straight answer back.

Question 1 of 4

Where is the visibility problem most obvious?

//How we work

A clear order of operations.

01

Audit and baseline first

A real audit written by a person, not a 200-page tool export, plus a measured baseline so every later month compares to something real.

02

Fix what blocks visibility

Crawl and index problems, site speed, and the technical debt suppressing pages you already have. Usually the fastest win and the part most agencies skip.

03

Earn the rankings that convert

We target the searches buyers type when they are close to acting, build pages that answer them better than the competition, and link them sensibly.

04

Report against revenue

Clicks, conversions and revenue-relevant terms, reviewed on a calm cadence. You own every account and every report.

//The case for us

Why Trust Mining Wells

The honest version, on purpose.

//

We never promise a ranking

Google says no one can guarantee position one, and anyone who does is either lying or about to break rules in your name. We will not.

//

Everything you pay for stays yours

Search Console, Analytics, content and code stay in your accounts and your name. If we part ways, your assets come with you.

//

AI search is built in

We optimize for AI Overviews and assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity using the same authority and clarity signals, because that is where more searches now end.

//

Plain reporting, real numbers

We lead with conversions and revenue, not impressions. If something stalls, you hear it from us first.

//What you can count on

How we operate.

Monthly
Ongoing work is month to month. No long-term lock-in.
100%
Of your accounts, data and content stay yours.
Month 1
You get a real audit and a baseline, not a content calendar.

//Common questions

Things we get asked first.

Can you guarantee I will rank number one?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google states plainly that no one can guarantee rankings, and the people who promise it usually break rules that get your site penalized later. We promise clear work, honest reporting and accountability, not positions on a calendar.

How long does SEO take to work?

Usually months, not weeks. The top-ranked pages on most competitive terms are years old. We often see early movement from technical fixes in the first one to two months, with the compounding gains showing up across months six to twelve. One client ranked 406 new keywords in three months, and that was a site with a strong reputation and a fixable set of problems.

What does an SEO agency cost?

It depends on the size of the site, the competition on your terms and how much of the work is technical versus content. We give you a number after the audit, not before, because the audit is what tells us the size of the job. Month to month, no lock-in.

Do you handle AI search, GEO and AEO too?

Yes, as part of every SEO program and as a standalone service. Being cited inside AI answers leans on the same authority and clarity signals as classic SEO, with some extra work on how passages are written and structured. As more searches end inside an AI answer, it matters more every quarter.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. We work month to month, with no long-term lock-in, and you keep every account, report and asset we touched.

Will you show me what you are actually doing?

Yes. You get access to your own Search Console and Analytics, a real audit you can read, and reporting that ties activity to revenue rather than vanity metrics. We publish our own numbers the same way, including the ones that look bad until they are explained.

Do you work with businesses outside Orange County?

Yes. We are based in Irvine, California, and we run SEO for businesses across the US. Local search work benefits from local knowledge, and for national and B2B work the discipline is the same everywhere.

Questions

Still have a question?

Ask a founder directly. No call center. No sales handoff. No obligation.

Not ready? Keep reading

//Not sure this is the right service?

Good. You should not have to diagnose the marketing before you hire the people who do it.

Talk to a founder. We will look at the business and tell you what we think should happen first.

//Definitions

What the initials actually mean.

Defined in a sentence, with a link to the organization that owns the term.

SEMSearch engine marketing

Everything that puts you on a search results page, paid and organic together. Most agencies use it to mean paid search only. We use it the broad way, because the two halves should be planned as one.

SEOSearch engine optimization

Earning your place in the unpaid results. Google publishes its own starter guide, and the short version is that you make the site easy to crawl, useful to a reader, and clearly about the thing people are searching for.

GEOGenerative engine optimization

Being cited inside an AI answer instead of a list of blue links. The term comes from a 2024 research paper at the ACM SIGKDD conference, which studied what makes a generative engine quote one source over another.
